Neslly joined Octant as a SynBio Apprentice, ready to learn about the wonderful world of next-generation sequencing.

Neslly is a bioengineer with the intention of focusing on synthetic biology. She received a bioengineering bachelor’s degree from MIT, and completed two years of mammalian cell research constructing mRNA sensors in the Jim Collins lab.

Neslly grew up in Houston, Texas. She likes to play video games, read fantasy novels, and explore local jewelry shops.
