Denise Dang

Denise leads Facilities and Lab Operations at Octant, where she builds and scales the operational infrastructure that powers high-throughput science. Prior to Octant, Denise managed lab and site operations across rapid-growth biotech and deep-tech teams, including Calico Life Sciences, Google X, 10x Genomics, and Genentech. Throughout her career, she has specialized in designing safety, facility, and operational systems that bridge lab infrastructure with day-to-day support, eliminating friction so scientists and engineers can focus entirely on breakthrough discovery.

Denise holds a B.A. in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley.

Outside the lab, Denise enjoys traveling to new places, hunting down great food, and reading.
