Edward received his B.A. in Chemical and Physical Biology from Harvard University. At Harvard, he worked in a membrane protein structural biology lab studying the differences in metal transport among the NRAMP family.

Outside of lab, Edward enjoys martial arts, visiting parks, and drinking tea.
