La Zhen Altaffer-Han

La Zhen is a biologist who enjoys building tools for science. As a member of the high-throughput screening team, they are excited to generate data, improve existing processes, and onboard new capabilities.

La Zhen received their BA from Sarah Lawrence College where they focused on biology and music. Previous work has encompassed fungal research, metabolomics, assay development, and barcoding far too many plates. Outside of Octant, La Zhen can be found writing, live-streaming video games, and collecting plants.
