Noah Yardeny

Noah is a chemical biologist with a background in organic synthesis, photocatalysis, chemoproteomics, and analytical chemistry. On the OpenADMET team, he helps build the platform chemistry that generates large-scale activity datasets. These data train models that predict off-target drug liabilities early in development.

Noah received his PhD in Chemical Biology from Weill Cornell Medicine as the first graduate student in Jacob Geri’s lab. His thesis work focused on photocatalytic proximity labeling (µMap), for which he designed a bioorthogonal iridium catalyst to map spatial relationships between proteins using mass spectrometry proteomics. He co-invented Affinity Map, a platform for simultaneous target identification and protein-ligand binding affinity measurement, and MAP-IT, a method for discovering protein-protein interactions directly in primary human tissue. Before that, he earned his B.S. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from UC Davis where he worked in David Olson’s lab.

Outside the lab, Noah enjoys running, cycling, skiing, and cooking.
