Saagar is an Octant Apprentice on the Discovery team. Prior to joining Octant, Saagar received his B.S. in Biology at Duke University with a concentration in Cell and Molecular Biology. At Duke, he worked in Dr. Henry Yin's lab, where he investigated a molecular pathway for neural stem cell proliferation. He also interned with the New York Blood Center, studying the characteristics of COVID-19 convalescent plasma donors during the peak of the pandemic.In his spare time, Saagar enjoys playing basketball, trying new foods, and spending time with friends and family.
